Features

GMU/WMU Mapping

Our GMU/WMU mapping tool uses your device’s GPS to automatically detect your location and identify the correct hunting unit wherever you are. You can switch between high‑resolution satellite imagery and topo‑line layers, pan and zoom, and even cache maps for offline use. This ensures you always know which game management unit you’re in, whether you’re deep in the backcountry or planning from home.

Species Library

The species library is a rich database covering hundreds of North American game animals. Each profile includes high‑quality images, habitat descriptions, seasonal behavior patterns, and tips for tracking and hunting the species effectively. It’s like having a field guide and wildlife encyclopedia in your pocket.

Meat Yield Calculator

Our meat yield calculator takes the guesswork out of how much meat you’ll get from your harvest. Enter the species and weight of your animal, and it calculates approximate boneless meat yield, waste, and overall carcass breakdown. It helps you plan freezer space, coolers, and transport before you even process the animal.

Gear Checklists & Planning

Field Dressing Guides

Our field dressing guides offer clear, step‑by‑step instructions and diagrams for processing game right after the harvest. Whether you’re dressing deer, elk, turkey, or small game, the guides emphasize safety, cleanliness, and efficient meat preservation. You can even download the guides for offline use so you’re ready when needed.

Partner Finder & Messaging

Find new hunting partners or coordinate with existing friends using our built‑in partner finder. Search by location, experience, preferred species, or hunt type, then use the in‑app messaging system to plan trips, share gear lists, and communicate securely without exposing your personal email or phone number.

Archery & Ballistics Tools

For archers, get bow‑sight recommendations, arrow weight calculations, and kinetic energy estimates. Rifle hunters can access ballistics tools with bullet drop charts, wind drift estimates, and caliber‑specific recommendations based on weapon and shooting distance. These tools help ensure your shots are dialed in, no matter your method.

Survival & First Aid Guides

Beyond hunting, ensure you’re prepared for emergencies with our survival and first aid guides. Learn how to build shelters, start fires in wet conditions, navigate without a GPS, and treat common injuries such as cuts, fractures, or hypothermia. Having these guides at your fingertips can turn a potentially dangerous situation into a manageable one.
